Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States. Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020. In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description: EINE NACHT IN VENEDIG (A NIGHT IN VENICE) is an three-act operetta by Johann Strauss II (1825-1899). The libretto was written by F. Zell and Richard Genée, based on the story Le Château Trompette by Genée and Eugène Cormon. The work premiered on October 3, 1883 at the Neues Friedrich Wilhelmstädtisches Theater in Berlin. The overture establishes the sparkling, Viennese locale in which the romantic farce about mistaken identity is set.
