During his two trips to London, Haydn was highly acclaimed for his later symphonies, of special note nos. 100 (Military) and 104 (London). “A Haydn Trilogy” combines memorable themes from these two works, bridged by the beautiful Andante theme from his Trumpet Concerto in Eb. This arrangement for concert band is by Jim Mahaffey.
