Description:
This piece was orginally composed for solo organ, and was inspired by the harmonic flute and rich strings of the French Romantic syle “Bedient” pipe organ at St. Rita Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. This arrangement for band combines both the triple meter repeated harmonic progression of the chaconne and the solo aria of the Baroque period within an arch form structure.
