Description:
This work is a collection of three praises (lauds) interspersed with two reflections (tropes). It was commissioned by the Gamma Eta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia at Furman University in celebration of Dan Ellis’ retirement as Director of Bands. Dan Ellis and the composer served together in the 101st Airborne Band and were lifetime friends.
