Robert G. Patterson composed MUSIC FOR CLARINET, VIOLIN AND PIANO in 1988. Patterson only titled the second movement, “Tristes Plaisyrs” of this 4 movement trio. The first performance was given on April 21, 1989 at the annual Memphis State University New Music Festival performed by Rena Feller, Max Huls and John Elmquist.
