TEX IN BRASS is a Classical Concert work for Brass Quintet inspired by TEX, the longest-lived Italian comic first published by Bonelli in September 1948. The series is an Italian interpretation of the American Old West, inspired by the classical characters and stories of American Western movies and history. This work is divided into eight vovements and conceived as a unique emotional journey into the “Wild West” world of the popular TEX comic. Movements: 1. Rangers; 2. The Night Eagle; 3. In Tucson; 4. Saloon!; 5. El Muerto; 6. The Ghost Chariot; 7. Canyons Dawn; 8. Golden Horses.
